Hey there! I'm Rachel.
I teach 7th grade language arts in a somewhat rural area in central NC. I am always exploring ways to make my classroom more engaging and my lessons more meaningful. I love using music, hands on activities, and technology. Currently, I'm looking at flipping my classroom and beginning to use reader/writer workshop.
I live with my husband in a cute little house that we are trying to improve a little while saving for a "forever house". I have an amazing mom and a fantastic brother (who will be a teacher too!).
During the summer I work at a camp (just part time now) and help run the climbing tower. It's 55 feet of awesomeness!
This blog is a lifestyle blog, where I chronicle my daily adventures being married, cooking, teaching, and running an etsy shop.
